About The Position

Legacy of Farmington Senior Living is a beautiful community located in Farmington, MN, providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. We are looking for a Culinary Assistant (Part Time) to join our growing team and help seniors Age Magnificently. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, distribution, and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff, while creating an environment that promotes resident well-being.

Requirements

• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food.
• Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
• Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
• Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
• Soak, scrub, scrape and wash soiled dishes.
