About The Position

Culinary Assistant (Lead) at Trails of Orono Assisted Living. We are looking for a compassionate and passionate individual to join our team and help seniors Age Magnificently. As a Lead Culinary Assistant, you will become part of the family and impact the lives of residents in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. Trails of Orono Senior Living, located in Orono, MN, is a serene, wooded community providing Assisted Living and Memory Care services. We are an established community with a fun, caring, and passionate team.

Requirements

Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assisting in the preparation, distribution, and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff.
Creating an environment that promotes resident well-being.
Setting up room trays and tables in the dining room.
Serving and bussing trays.
Pouring and covering beverages.
Assisting in preparing and covering food.
Transporting carts to appropriate areas and delivering trays, when applicable.
Delivering nourishments and snacks appropriately.
Maintaining a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
Soaking, scrubbing, scraping, and washing soiled dishes.
