About The Position

Career & Technical Education (CTE) provides students with the opportunity to explore career pathways while earning industry-recognized skills and credentials. These programs combine classroom instruction with hands-on learning to prepare students for college, careers, and beyond. CTE programs begin in 10th grade and continue through 12th grade, with students completing 1,080 hours of hands-on training. Students have opportunities to connect with local employers, colleges, and industry partners, and can participate in Career & Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) for leadership and competition opportunities.

  • Must be a student entering 10th grade.
  • Complete 1,080 hours of hands-on training.

  • Participation in Career & Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs), such as FBLA, HOSA, SkillsUSA, or DECA, for leadership and competition opportunities.
