About The Position

Career & Technical Education (CTE) provides students with the opportunity to explore career pathways while earning industry-recognized skills and credentials. These programs combine classroom instruction with hands-on learning to prepare students for college, careers, and beyond. CTE offers students the chance to gain real-world experience in a chosen career field, earn industry certifications while in high school, and take college-level courses through dual enrollment. Students can also earn college credits through CTE articulation agreements and build critical skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity. Graduates will have both a high school diploma and career credentials.

Requirements

  • Must be a student starting in 10th grade
  • Must continue through 12th grade
  • Must complete 1,080 hours of hands-on training
