About The Position

West Cancer Center is a multi-specialty, academic, regional cancer center specializing in adult care and prevention. The CT Technologist I operates imaging equipment to perform procedures tailored to the center’s patient population, while demonstrating behavior consistent with its Mission, Vision, and Values. The role supports quality, compassionate cancer care using appropriate technical and safety practices.

Requirements

• Complete a formal radiography education program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT.
• Hold certification and registration as R.T.(R) ARRT.
• Obtain CT certification within 18 months of hire.
• Hold BLS certification.
• New graduates of an accredited program who do not yet have ARRT may be accepted, but must obtain certification and registry within one year of their graduation date.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, compliance activities, and policies and procedures.
• Effectively manage resources such as supplies and equipment.
• Plan work and complete job responsibilities efficiently and productively.
