This position performs diagnostic computed tomography (CT) and computed tomography angiography (CTA) scans, along with all associated post-processing procedures, adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols. The role involves archiving data into the PACS system, maintaining accurate records of daily operations, and ensuring optimal diagnostic quality. Services are provided for a diverse patient population, from pediatric to geriatric. The CT Technologist is responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies, effectively utilizing required equipment, and meeting the individualized needs of all patients. They also assist physicians during procedures as needed, ensuring the safety of both staff and patients. The position operates under the daily supervision of the lead Technologist and reports to the Director of Medical Imaging.
