The role also involves maintaining a safe and clean working environment, managing medical stock, and taking responsibility for professional growth. Adherence to infection prevention guidelines, assisting student technologists, and safe patient handling are also key aspects of the position. Department-specific competencies include administering contrast media, ensuring patient safety through proper identification and protocols, calibrating equipment, and following Lean principles. The role also involves on-call duties and assisting in training new employees.
