About The Position

Performs all required CAT Scan examinations, including angiography. Works as part of a cohesive team and selects appropriate software, hardware, equipment, and imaging techniques. Applies radiation-safety and protection practices and follows departmental and hospital infection-control policies. Assesses patient condition, performs intravenous injections of CT contrast, and ensures patient safety through proper equipment use. Reviews examinations for technical accuracy, presents completed exams to the radiologist, and communicates pertinent information to those responsible for the patient’s care after the procedure. This is a full-time, weekend-only day-shift position with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Some weekend rotation is noted. The colleague must live within a 30-mile radius of Saint Francis to take call.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
State licensure as a Radiographer. Registry-eligible candidates must provide documentation of passing the licensure exam within one year of hire.
Must be within a 30-mile radius of Saint Francis to take call.

Nice To Haves

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) CT Scan Registry preferred.
One year of experience working as a CAT Scan Technologist preferred.
