About The Position

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience operating Siemens or Philips CT scanners and be committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and exceptional care.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Current ARRT (R) certification required.
CT certification preferred in accordance with facility standards.
Active state licensure as required by California regulations.
Current BLS certification preferred.
Minimum two (2) years of CT Technologist experience required.
Experience operating Siemens or Philips CT scanners is required.
Hospital-based imaging experience preferred.
First-time travelers accepted with at least three (3) years of recent hospital experience.
Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy.
Proficiency in contrast administration and patient assessment.
Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Nice To Haves

CT certification preferred in accordance with facility standards.
Current BLS certification preferred.
Hospital-based imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
Operate Siemens or Philips CT equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Administer contrast media when required, following established venipuncture and safety protocols.
Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning throughout imaging procedures.
Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and imaging department policies.
Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information within the electronic medical record system.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely and accurate patient diagnoses.
Perform routine equipment checks and report any operational concerns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
