About The Position

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience operating Siemens or Philips CT scanners and be committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and exceptional care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT (R) certification required.
  • CT certification preferred in accordance with facility standards.
  • Active state licensure as required by California regulations.
  • Current BLS certification preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of CT Technologist experience required.
  • Experience operating Siemens or Philips CT scanners is required.
  • Hospital-based imaging experience preferred.
  • First-time travelers accepted with at least three (3) years of recent hospital experience.
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Proficiency in contrast administration and patient assessment.
  • Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Nice To Haves

  • CT certification preferred in accordance with facility standards.
  • Current BLS certification preferred.
  • Hospital-based imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Operate Siemens or Philips CT equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Administer contrast media when required, following established venipuncture and safety protocols.
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning throughout imaging procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and imaging department policies.
  • Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information within the electronic medical record system.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely and accurate patient diagnoses.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report any operational concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
