About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join a healthcare imaging team in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have experience performing advanced CT imaging procedures, operating Siemens CT equipment, and providing exceptional patient care to pediatric, adolescent, emergency, and trauma populations.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Active Texas CT Technologist License required.
Experience operating Siemens CT equipment required.
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts.

Nice To Haves

ARRT certification preferred.
Current BLS certification preferred.
Previous pediatric imaging experience preferred.
Acute care, emergency department, and trauma imaging experience preferred.
Experience with Epic or other electronic medical record systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
Operate Siemens CT scanners safely and efficiently while producing high-quality diagnostic images.
Provide imaging support for emergency, trauma, inpatient, and pediatric patient populations.
Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout imaging procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, pediatric specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent patient care situations.
Maintain accurate documentation of imaging studies and patient information within the electronic medical record system.
Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.
