About The Position

Performs radiologic procedures and assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level that does not require constant supervision of technical details. The role is responsible for CT invasive procedures, CTA procedures, CT scans, and related quality-control monitoring as assigned. The technologist ensures patient comfort and safety, produces high-quality images, and maintains the availability and sterility of equipment and supplies for assigned areas. The work requires independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.

The schedule is full-time evenings, Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Arkansas as a Radiologic Technologist in accordance with the Arkansas state board.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• Current BLS certification.
• Clinical experience acquired through an accredited radiologic sciences program.
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic sciences program.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced computed tomography modality registration.
• Two years of experience as a computed tomography technologist in an acute-care hospital setting.
• Graduation from an accredited radiologic sciences program with a B.S. and completion of a computed tomography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT invasive procedures, CTA procedures, and CT scans as assigned.
• Perform related quality-control monitoring.
• Assist physicians and radiologists with radiologic procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Ensure high-quality images are produced.
• Maintain the availability and sterility of equipment and supplies used in assigned areas.
