CT Technologist II
About The Position
The CT Technologist II performs CT exams for diagnostic and treatment purposes, adhering to departmental standards. This role involves preparing patients, explaining procedures, positioning them comfortably, and ensuring the quality of the images submitted to radiologists. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 2:30 pm to 11 pm, with on-call responsibilities. Requirements
- Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
- CPR Certification required
- Advanced CT Certification required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
Nice To Haves
- Previous CT Technologist experience – at least 5 years preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
- Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
- Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner
- Review CT's to ensure optimum quality
