About The Position

This position is located in a pediatric hospital, working with the pediatric population. A sign-on bonus is available for full-time positions for external candidates. The role involves performing all CT procedures in accordance with established department policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
- 1 year of relevant work experience
- LIC-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Licensure-Others

Responsibilities
- Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost effective imaging.
- Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
- Provides appropriate radiation protection to patient, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.
- Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.
- Performs all CT procedures in accordance with established department policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered.
