About The Position
The CSS Assistant is an entry level position for an individual who has no experience in Central Sterile Supply. A CSS Assistant will be mentored accordingly, depending on skill levels, by a Certified CSS Liaison.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- No experience required.
- Progression toward Sterile Processing National Certification.
Nice To Haves
- It is expected for an employee in this position to obtain certification as a CST, CRCST or CSPDT with NICHSPDP or IAHCSMN within two years from date of employment.
