Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of in Sterile processing or related field preferred.
• Central Service Certification required within TWO years of hire date. Failure to achieve certification within required period will result in termination.
• Knowledge of sterilization standards and procedures, related medical terminology preferred.
• Computer knowledge and ability to use or learn to use department tracking system and its associated devices.
• Customer service and great interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Sterilizing surgical equipment.
• Decontaminating soiled equipment.
• Assembling instrument sets.
• Delivering items to customers throughout the hospital.
• Picks case carts.
• Follows IFU for every process.
