About The Position

The CSR I - Outreach (Bilingual English/Spanish) is responsible for providing in-person outreach and enrollment support services to beneficiaries. This role involves presenting managed care options, assisting with enrollment and disenrollment processes, and supporting community engagement efforts. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Typing speed of at least 20 WPM
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experience in customer service, call center, or public-facing roles
  • Experience in healthcare, Medicaid, or human services environments
  • Experience with community outreach, public speaking, or presentations

Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face outreach and enrollment services in both group and individual settings
  • Present Managed Care options and assist beneficiaries in understanding and utilizing healthcare plans
  • Support enrollment and disenrollment processes, including documentation and follow-up
  • Provide assistance with medical exemptions and waiver inquiries
  • Communicate enrollment status updates and respond to beneficiary questions
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain records in CRM systems
  • Transmit enrollment and disenrollment data according to established procedures
  • Maintain positive relationships with county staff, community partners, and clients
  • Participate in community events, outreach programs, and health fairs
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new staff when needed
  • Monitor and report trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Ensure compliance with program policies, procedures, and performance standards
  • Meet productivity and quality metrics established for the role
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Travel is required to support coverage at various locations
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and active insurance
  • Mileage reimbursement will be provided from the assigned home base to work sites
