About The Position

We are looking for engaging group facilitators for our substance use Intensive Outpatient Programs in Bristol and Abingdon. We have full-time openings for CSAC or CSAC-Supervisee (or eligible). We are looking for a few qualified individuals who have a heart for helping men and women in recovery from addiction. Our Certified Substance Abuse Counselors lead inspiring 3-hour groups, link individuals to services in the community and work as part of an interdisciplinary team to help residents in their journey to recovery. Fairview Housing's Bristol Lifestyle Recovery and Mended Women Lifestyle Recovery provides low intensity residential treatment to men in recovery from addiction.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with coursework in a Human Services field
Effective problem solving and decision-making skills
Effective written and oral communication skills for documentation
Ability to work with other agency personnel
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to intervene in crisis situations and support staff in navigating these crises successfully
Willingness to work flexible hours when needed
Effective organizational and time management skills
Valid Driver's License
Background check & Drug screen required

Responsibilities

Lead inspiring 3-hour groups
