About The Position

Amentum is hiring a Chinese Mandarin Cryptologic Linguist Course (35P) Trainer. The posting lists qualifications for both Senior and Expert 35P Trainers. Requirements

• For Senior 35P Trainer qualification: at least 6 years of operational experience in the Cryptologic Linguist MOS or equivalent U.S. Army MOS 35P, U.S. Air Force AFSC 1N3/1A8, or qualifying U.S. Marine Corps specialties supporting authorized intelligence activities under AR 381-10, within the last 10 years.
• For Senior 35P Trainer qualification: completion of 35P ALC, WOBC, or WOAC.
• For Expert 35P Trainer qualification: at least 6 years of operational experience in the Cryptologic Linguist MOS or equivalent U.S. Army MOS 35P, U.S. Air Force AFSC 1N3/1A8, or qualifying U.S. Marine Corps specialties supporting authorized intelligence activities under AR 381-10, within the last 10 years.
• For Expert 35P Trainer qualification: completion of 35P SLC, WOBC, or WOAC.
• Must have a TS/SCI or TS Interim security clearance.
• Must have at least ILR Level 2 limited working proficiency. This may be verified by a DLPT administered while the applicant was a DOD employee within the previous 12 months, with a score of 2 or higher in both Reading and Listening. If no qualifying DLPT score is available, civilian testing that verifies ILR Level 2 may be pursued through the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.
• May be required to take and pass a counterintelligence polygraph (CSP) under AR 381-20 to develop or teach certain instructional blocks. Employees who refuse or do not receive a favorable result may not perform on the contract. Those who previously failed a CSP will be denied access to Secure Compartmented Information Facilities.
• Must have at least an associate degree from a regionally or nationally accredited postsecondary institution.
