About The Position

Sentar is seeking a Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist in Maryland to help solve complex cryptographic challenges and analyze large-scale datasets. The role calls for expertise in Python and PySpark and involves developing and implementing algorithms to break codes, secure information, and enhance cybersecurity measures. The successful candidate will bring programming and cryptography experience and the ability to work with distributed data processing frameworks. An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, including at least one programming course and at least four upper-level mathematics courses (Calculus and above).
• Two years of relevant experience, or an associate's degree with four years of in-depth relevant experience clearly related to the position.
• Relevant experience must be in computer science (theoretical or applied), designing, developing, using, or evaluating mathematical models, methods, or techniques to study issues and solve problems, engineering (electrical or computer), and/or high-performance computing.
• Strong programming skills and experience in cryptography.
• Expertise in Python and PySpark and ability to work with distributed data processing frameworks.
