About The Position

We are looking for a Cryo Engineer to join our growing team at Bluefors in the United States. In this role, you will work hands-on with advanced cryogenic systems, supporting the assembly, testing, and commissioning of dilution refrigerator systems used in cutting-edge research and technology. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is technically driven, eager to learn, and interested in working in a high-tech, international environment at the forefront of innovation. Your tasks will include performing system-level assembly and testing of cryogenic dilution refrigerators to ensure high-quality performance and reliability. You will support factory acceptance testing and participate in on-site installation and acceptance testing at customer locations. You will also deliver a wide range of expert services for Bluefors systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and system functionality. In addition, you will document system performance and processes in accordance with company standards and contribute to maintaining high-quality outcomes across all work. You may also support additional tasks as needed to meet team and organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (MSc) or higher in applied or technical physics
  • Strong technical aptitude and hands-on approach to engineering work
  • Basic IT skills and proficiency with standard office programs
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong teamwork and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured, systematic manner
  • Positive, proactive, and hands-on attitude
  • Commitment to high-quality work and continuous improvement
  • Ability to align with company Leadership Principles and workplace competencies
  • A valid driver’s license (minimum 1 year) with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Perform system-level assembly and testing of cryogenic dilution refrigerators
  • Support factory acceptance testing and on-site installation at customer locations
  • Conduct on-site system commissioning and acceptance testing
  • Deliver expert technical services for Bluefors systems
  • Document system performance, processes, and technical activities
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures
  • Support additional duties as assigned
