Independently performs routine and specialized overnight and day sleep studies. This role involves supervising CPAP/BiPap titrations, performing sleep studies on various age groups (excluding neonates and infants), explaining procedures to patients, monitoring patient comfort and safety, obtaining medical history, adjusting equipment, preparing patients, maintaining equipment, scoring sleep studies, generating reports, and staying updated on current trends in sleep disorders. The position requires adaptability to emergencies and changing workloads, regular communication with colleagues and supervisors, adherence to disinfection protocols, standard precautions, and accurate performance of technical procedures. The role also includes active participation in department meetings and accountability for meeting department goals and DCH Values, Mission, and Vision.
