About The Position

Diamond Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Inspector for a long-term position located around Detroit, MI. This role requires travel and involves conducting inspections on job sites using CRT/RT methods, as well as other NDE methods like ultrasonic, magnetic particles, and liquid penetrant. The inspector will be responsible for generating reports on inspection findings, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and collaborating with team members.

Requirements

• Qualified and certified to ASNT in CRT/RT (Level II with previous or applicable certification to ASNT)
• Must have PT cert
• Certified in one or more of the following NDT methods in conjunction with CRT/RT: VT, MT
• Excellent knowledge of industry codes and standards, such as ASME, API, AWS, and ASTM, pertaining to various forms of non-destructive testing
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Excellent communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proof of classroom and OJT hours
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
• Available as needed days, nights, weekends holidays and potential travel to support other offices
