About The Position

This position serves to ensure the safety of students, faculty, staff, and citizens by managing vehicle traffic flow at Thomas Jefferson Elementary and Liberty High School during morning and afternoon hours. The payable hours are from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Manual dexterity.
• Ability to hear and understand speech at normal levels.
• Ability to speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly.
• Physical agility to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, climb stairs, walk, and reach overhead.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Valid Virginia driver's license with proper endorsements and a good driving record.
• Alternative experience as the School Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Direct vehicle traffic and ensure the safe arrival and departure of all students and citizens.
• Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.
• Undergo and complete required training, which will be provided.
