About The Position
The Cross Country Head Coach is responsible for overseeing cross country teams, planning and conducting practices, developing race strategies, and fostering a positive, inclusive team culture. The coach will ensure the development of student-athletes, promote sportsmanship, and ensure compliance with district policies.
Requirements
- Experience in coaching cross country
- Knowledge of training principles and race strategies
- Ability to develop and motivate student-athletes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of sportsmanship principles
- Familiarity with district policies
Nice To Haves
- Previous head coaching experience
- Certification in coaching or sports medicine
