Requirements

  • Company Driver with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
  • Must be U.S. qualified
  • Must hold a valid FAST card
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months Highway 17 experience
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion
  • Reliable, flexible, and punctual
  • Strong communication skills
  • Values safety
  • Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse

Responsibilities

  • Primarily running open-board Canada/U.S. in Ontario, Quebec, and the Midwest U.S.
  • This position requires you to be on the road 5 to 7 days at a time and average 2,500 miles per week.
  • Must be willing to drive in all Canadian Provinces and U.S. States to support varying customer and freight requirements
  • Must be willing to drive in the Northeast U.S. if required
  • Required to drive Highway 17 in Ontario
  • Regional freight will be required
  • Ability to pull refrigerated freight if available
  • Flexible schedule requiring weekend departures
  • Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
