About The Position

This position is for a Cross-Border Long-Haul Owner-Operator. The role involves being on the road for 7-10 days at a time, averaging 10K-12K miles per month. The freight and destinations will vary based on operational requirements, and drivers will be running open-board, Canada/U.S. long-haul. Driving in B.C., including Highway 1 and Highway 3, is required 12 months a year. Drivers must be available for dispatch 24 days a month and flexible schedules requiring weekend departures are necessary. Regional freight will also be required, and drivers must be able to haul all commodities, including meat and alcohol.

Requirements

• Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
• Tractor must be equipped with a DEF system
• Must be U.S. qualified
• Minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience
• Minimum of 6 months B.C. mountain driving experience
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must have a valid Class 1/AZ License
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Values safety
• Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse

Responsibilities
