Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Crop Insurance experience in any role (Agency, sales, Underwriting, Claims, etc.).
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and strategize accordingly.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Must live within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee a given sales region, including agency management, training, profitable region growth, and general day-to-day support of agencies.
  • Build and maintain strong and lasting relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maximize business retention by exceptional customer service.
  • Lead the development of productive agency plans to maximize business opportunities and profitable revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with all team member stakeholders to drive a holistic approach to agency support, including internal claims, processing, and livestock partners.
  • Provide agency training on processing systems, products, and general Crop Insurance knowledge.
  • Proactively identify new business growth opportunities in the assigned region.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends.
  • Analyze current region business and drive organic growth.
  • Meet or exceed assigned annual sales goals.
  • Drive profitability within the assigned region by strategically growing business.
  • Become an expert in the local region.
  • Understand all products and services in the region agents need to be successful.
  • Communicate competitive products and trends to the internal team for analysis.
