About The Position
Under the supervision of a licensed physician, the CRNA delivers anesthesia consistent with the policies, procedures and regulations of the acute care practice setting during the perioperative period.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia education program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
- Current South Carolina RN license.
- Current Official recognition as a CRNA in the state of South Carolina.
Nice To Haves
- 3-5 years of clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintains current license, certifications and/or competencies as required.
- Insures that patient and/or associate information is protected from unauthorized disclosure.
- Demonstrates knowledge of Patients rights and responsibilities.
- Demonstrates and utilizes hospital wide and unit specific policies and procedures.
- Adheres to all department and Medical Center safety policies and procedures following Just Culture Principles. Recognizes individual responsibilities, reporting procedures, and chain of escalation during a safety event, as outlined in the Just Culture Policy.
