About The Position

Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled CRNA to join their team in Johnston (Providence), RI. This growing full arch dental implant center focuses on providing life-changing dental implant treatments and full mouth restorations. The CRNA will administer general anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting, collaborating with surgeons and dentists to optimize anesthesia plans and ensure patient safety. The role offers a great work-life balance with 2-4 days per week, no nights, weekends, call, or holidays, and 100% autonomy in a solo practice setting. The CRNA will be instrumental in changing patients' lives by providing them with new smiles.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current state licensure as an APRN
  • Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Professional malpractice insurance
  • Two years of experience practicing as a CRNA
  • One year experience practicing independently as a solo provider
  • Recent experience providing general anesthesia
  • Proficient in nasal intubations
  • Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center

  • Experience with general anesthesia with nasal intubations, under TIVA
  • Experience with dental anesthesia
  • Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting

Responsibilities

  • Administer general anesthesia with a nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office based setting
  • Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
  • Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
  • Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
  • Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
  • Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment
