About The Position

A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is an advanced practice registered nurse who practices autonomously and in collaboration with a variety of healthcare providers on an interprofessional team to deliver high-quality, holistic, evidence-based anesthesia and pain care. The CRNA cares for patients of all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings and provides care for surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain-management procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
• Current Pennsylvania RN license.
• Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
• Meet the credentialing requirements of the Medical Staff Office.
• Healthcare Provider CPR.
• ACLS.
• Act 33/73 clearances.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia and pain care services to patients.
• Provide care for patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan and in a variety of settings.
• Provide care for surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain-management procedures.
• Practice autonomously and collaboratively with healthcare providers on the interprofessional team.

Benefits

• $60,000 sign-on bonus with a three-year commitment.
