About The Position

UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for a CRNA to join our team in Waterloo, IA. UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital is a 204-bed, not-for-profit community hospital serving the Cedar Valley. Allen Hospital is the busiest hospital in the Cedar Valley. We care for more inpatients, outpatients, emergency patients and cardiac patients than any other hospital in our 10-county service area. United Medical Park and Prairie Parkway offer outpatient care in facilities that are built for your comfort and convenience. Join a collaborative and experienced team of Anesthesiologist and CRNA. Two locations- UPH Allen Hospital & Ambulatory Surgery Center. Quality of life and rewarding work. Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences. Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community. Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access. 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients. Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination.

Requirements

  • NBCRNA required
  • Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of State
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the CRNA's field of practice
  • Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

Responsibilities

  • Cover a variety of cases including general, urology, neurosurgery, ortho, podiatry, and OB as well as out of the OR procedures
  • Work independently with Physician back up
  • No heart, tight-knit group and work hospital and Ambulatory surgical center
  • Post 1st call off
  • Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
