About The Position

BayCare Medical Group (BMG) is seeking Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) to join their anesthesia team at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. This role offers a collaborative and supportive culture with physicians, CRNAs, and AAs. The practice is medically supervised and handles a broad, high-acuity case mix with diverse surgical specialties. St. Joseph's Hospital is a 615-bed community hospital, part of the BayCare Health System, known for its innovation and high-quality care. The Tampa Bay area provides access to beaches, outdoor recreation, and a vibrant cultural scene.

Requirements

Master's degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program.
NCCAA certification required.
Active Florida license or ability to obtain.
ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care under medical supervision.
Participate in a broad, high-acuity case mix.
Engage in diverse surgical cases including Trauma, OB/Gyn, Pediatrics (all ages), Vascular, EP, IR, Neurosurgery, Robotics, Thoracic, OMFS, Endoscopy, Urology, and ENT.
Work within a collaborative anesthesia team.
