About The Position
BayCare Medical Group, a physician-led organization, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy Cardiology practice at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. The APP will support outpatient clinic visits for General and Interventional Cardiology patients, and inpatient rounding, contributing to a collaborative and patient-centered environment. The group currently consists of eight physicians and five APP`s dedicated to providing high quality heart and vascular care.
Requirements
- Two years of experience as a provider.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with multiple providers.
- Flexible, compassionate, and energetic with a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Active Florida license and certification NP-C or PA-C.
- Acute Care Certification is required.
- Current DEA license.
Nice To Haves
- Preferably in cardiac medicine.
Responsibilities
- Support outpatient clinic visits for General and Interventional Cardiology patients.
- Support inpatient rounding.
- Perform stress testing.
- Conduct outpatient established patient/hospital follow-up visits.
- Participate in inpatient rounding.
- Weekend call coverage rotation 1 in 5 weeks, with the following Monday off.
