About The Position

Our patients are our number one priority! We're committed to giving children back their childhood! This role is located at the Frisco - Ambulatory Surgical Center and operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. The CRNA will administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia and analgesia care for scheduled (non-emergent) pediatric orthopedic procedures and imaging under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist. Responsibilities include evaluating patients preoperatively, formulating and executing anesthesia care plans in consultation with the attending anesthesiologist, and ensuring safe patient transport to and from the anesthetizing location and appropriate postoperative care. The role also emphasizes being an effective team member, interacting with staff and patients respectfully.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Comfortable practicing independently as well as a shared resource for attending anesthesiologists
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NBCRNA certification
• Current CRNA License

Nice To Haves

• Regional anesthesia experience preferred but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Be an effective team member and interact with staff and patients in a way that shows respect and consideration for the individual and those around you
