About The Position

Somnia is seeking CRNAs for a Per Diem role in an independent anesthesia practice. This Level 2 Stroke and Level 3 Trauma Center has been addressing the healthcare needs of the community for over 60 years. The hospital handles approximately 6,000 cases annually (Main OR: 2,803, Endo: 2,756, and OB: 438). Requirements

• Active state license
• NBCRNA certification
• ACLS
• W2 ONLY

Nice To Haves

• Experience with heads, hearts, or vascular cases (as these are not performed at this facility).

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in a general, blocks, OB, Ortho, Uro, Gyn, podiatry, spines, GI, ENT and Peds setting.
• Cover 3 ORs, 1 Endo, and OB for 3 labor rooms.
• Participate in call rotation, averaging one night per week and one weekend per month.
• Manage charting using EMR/EHR (Meditech Expanse) for anesthesia charts on paper.
• Utilize Pyxis for medication management/digital pharmacy.
