About The Position
Somnia Anesthesia, a physician-owned, clinician-led anesthesia group, is seeking Per Diem Anesthesiologists to join our growing team at Island Health Hospital in Anacortes, WA. This is a per diem position with a competitive salary and benefits package. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Requirements
- Active Washington state license
- Board Certified (BC) required
- BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications

- New graduates are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for a variety of cases including General, blocks, OB, Ortho, Uro, Gyn, podiatry, spines, GI, ENT and Peds.
- Participate in remote pager call (not required, but encouraged).
- Utilize Meditech Expanse for charting and paper anesthesia charts.
- Manage medications using Pyxis for digital pharmacy.
Benefits
- Per diem rate: $3000/day
- Additional stipends and hourly pay for call duty
- Stipends range from up to $4800 depending on call taken
- Refer a colleague and earn a referral bonus of up to $5,000 if they are hired.
