About The Position

Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled PRN CRNA to join their team in Miami, FL. This role involves providing life-changing dental implant treatments and full mouth restorations. The center prioritizes patient satisfaction and well-being, taking pride in the positive impact of their treatments. The CRNA will work autonomously in partnership with an Oral Surgeon, enjoying a great work-life balance with no nights, weekends, call, or holidays. This is a 1099 contractor position with 100% autonomy in a solo practice setting. The CRNA will administer general anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting, collaborating with surgeons and dentists to optimize anesthesia plans and ensure safe delivery. Success is defined by delivering safe, consistent anesthesia and effective communication. The role offers the opportunity to change people's lives by giving them a new smile.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current state licensure as an APRN
  • Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Professional malpractice insurance
  • Two years experience practicing as a CRNA
  • One year experience practicing independently as a solo provider
  • Recent experience providing general anesthesia
  • Proficient in nasal intubations
  • Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center

Responsibilities

  • Administer general anesthesia with a nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office based setting
  • Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
  • Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
  • Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
  • Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
  • Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment
