About The Position

Centra Medical Group Anesthesia Services in Farmville, VA, is seeking CRNAs to join their multi-specialty group to provide services at Southside Community Hospital. This is a care team model practice opportunity for experienced CRNAs who enjoy challenging cases, regional anesthesia, and other procedures. Cases include Ortho, General surgery, Critical Care, and Surgical services. CRNAs will have increased opportunities for independence, regional anesthesia procedures, and central venous access procedures. The first call is taken by CRNA staff, with backup call provided by an experienced CRNA or anesthesiologist. Training for regional blocks and central venous access will be provided, but experience and interest in these skills are a plus. Familiarity with and interest in ERAS protocols is also welcome. The team is described as positive, strong, and cohesive, with great working relationships among surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and OR staff.

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Experience in challenging cases
• Experience in regional anesthesia
• Experience in central venous access procedures
• Experience and interest in regional block skills
• Experience and interest in central venous access skills
• Familiarity with ERAS protocols
• Interest in ERAS protocols
