About The Position

Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled and motivated PRN CRNA to join our growing team in Nashville, TN. We specialize in providing life-changing dental implants and full mouth restorations. Our core mission is patient satisfaction and well-being, and we take immense pride in the positive impact our treatments have on our patients' lives. This is a 1099 contractor position with a competitive hourly rate starting at $260, negotiable based on market, and a daily guarantee. The ideal candidate is efficient, self-motivated, prioritizes patient safety, and has experience practicing independently and with nasal intubations, though training is available for the right candidate. Our CRNAs are respected leaders in a positive and engaging work environment, offering a fantastic opportunity for autonomous practice in partnership with an Oral Surgeon.

Requirements

  • Two years experience practicing as a CRNA
  • One year experience practicing independently as a solo provider
  • Recent experience providing general anesthesia
  • Proficient in nasal intubations
  • Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center
  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current state licensure as an APRN
  • Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Professional malpractice insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with dental anesthesia
  • Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting
  • Willing to train the right candidate for nasal intubations

Responsibilities

  • Administer general anesthesia with a nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office based setting
  • Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
  • Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
  • Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
  • Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
  • Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment
