About The Position

Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled and motivated PRN CRNA to join our growing team in Johnston, RI. We specialize in life-changing dental implant procedures and full mouth restorations, prioritizing patient satisfaction and well-being. This is a 1099 contractor position with a competitive hourly rate starting at $290, negotiable based on experience, and a daily guarantee. The role offers significant autonomy, allowing you to work independently in partnership with an Oral Surgeon. You will be responsible for administering general anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting, collaborating with the surgical team to develop and implement anesthesia plans, and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of anesthesia. Success is defined by delivering safe, consistent anesthesia and effective communication. You'll be part of a team that helps patients regain confidence through transformative dental procedures.

Requirements

  • Two years experience practicing as a CRNA
  • One year experience practicing independently as a solo provider
  • Recent experience providing general anesthesia
  • Proficient in nasal intubations
  • Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center
  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current state licensure as an APRN
  • Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Professional malpractice insurance

Responsibilities

  • Administer general anesthesia with a nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office based setting
  • Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
  • Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
  • Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
  • Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
  • Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment
