About The Position

CRNA opportunity 40 minutes from Washington, D.C., at OrthoVirginia Herndon. OrthoVirginia’s Herndon practice is an extension of the OrthoVirginia network, which has over 100 orthopedic specialists at more than 30 sites and is the state’s largest provider of orthopedic medicine and therapy. The OrthoVirginia Herndon practice is equipped with the most up-to-date orthopedic treatment and technology to deliver the highest level of care that Northern VA has to offer.

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed
