About The Position
Essential Anesthesia Management is seeking a service-oriented Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its anesthesia team at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Westover Hills in San Antonio, Texas. The role offers a diverse case mix at a multi-specialty hospital and the opportunity to practice full-scope anesthesia with autonomy. New graduates and experienced CRNAs are welcome. The position pays $375,000 on a 1099 basis, based on 46 weeks of coverage, with six weeks off coordinated with the team. The weekly schedule includes 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, with some weekdays off. Overtime and call hours worked are paid at $200 per hour. CRNAs perform their own regional and neuraxial blocks; training is available for those who want to expand these skills. A CRNA on-call team of 10 covers the operating room and provides backup obstetric coverage during the day. Anesthesiologists provide primary call coverage at night and on weekends, with CRNAs available as backup if needed. Optional extra-income opportunities are available through 8-hour weekend shifts at Westover Hills or other San Antonio facilities.
