Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community. Full-time position, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access. 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for inpatients.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Anesthesia for Nurses
  • Board eligible or board certified
  • Complies with criteria for recertification
  • Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS required
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • PRN position
  • Evaluates and prepares patients for required anesthetic to be administered
  • Administers anesthetics as required
  • Performs post-anesthesia duties in accordance with departmental policies
  • No OB
  • Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
  • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
