About The Position

UPMC is hiring a casual Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at UPMC Community Osteopathic, an acute care hospital licensed for 177 beds in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The hospital provides a range of services, including bariatric, emergency, orthopedic, cancer, and women’s care, and has received its fourth consecutive Magnet designation from the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program. The CRNA will work independently alongside a skilled and diverse team, providing anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures. Self-scheduling is available, with shifts of 8, 10, 12, or 24 hours. The role uses EPIC EMR and Fabias GS technology. Experienced providers and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited CRNA program.
Ability to acquire a license to practice in Pennsylvania.
Must obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates.
Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
Comfort with a wide variety of cases.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for a wide variety of surgical procedures, including general, plastic, ENT, urology, robotic, spine, gynecological, orthopedic, podiatric, and endoscopic cases.
Provide regional anesthesia, including peripheral nerve blocks and spinal anesthesia.
Work independently as part of a skilled and diverse team.
Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients.
