About The Position

CRNAs at Essentia Health - Virginia administer anesthesia to patients of all ages. We provide anesthesia services in the operating room, on obstetrics, and throughout the hospital as requested. This position requires a high level of customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, families, and coworkers. This is a rural anesthesia practice that uses a mixed medical model of providing anesthesia that includes both medically directed and independent practice opportunities. Call is covered independently with one CRNA.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
RN license in the state of Minnesota.
Certified by the NBCRNA.
Maintains current licensure requirements for CRNA practice.
Knowledgeable of the principles and methods of general, regional, sedation, and local anesthetics.
Demonstrate competency in clinical responsibilities.
Clear, thorough, and appropriate verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with various clinical staff and other disciplines.
