About The Position

This is a locum tenens position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in Anesthesiology. The facility handles a variety of cases including General Surgery, OB/GYN, Gastrointestinal (GI), Orthopedic (Ortho), and occasionally Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab). The primary focus is on Orthopedics and General Surgery. There are no cardiac or neurological surgeries performed at this facility. The role requires a minimum of three weeks of availability per month, with specific call obligations including off-site beeper call and continuous weekend and holiday coverage.

Requirements

• Valid Arizona Medical License
• Clean malpractice history
• Board Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Minimum of three weeks availability per month
• Must be available for 10-20 shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for General Surgery, OB/GYN, GI, Ortho, and occasional Cath Lab cases.
• Manage anesthesia care with a focus on Orthopedics and General Surgery.
• Participate in off-site beeper call.
• Provide continuous call coverage over weekends and holidays.
• Be available for weekday call coverage from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
