About The Position
A well-established healthcare facility in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its anesthesia care team. Requirements
- Active CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
- Current Virginia RN and APRN licenses (or ability to obtain)
- Must be board-certified
- DEA required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse case load
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1–2 years of anesthesia experience preferred
- Pediatrics
- Regional anesthesia
- Complex vascular cases
- Complex orthopedic cases
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures (general, ortho, GI, OB, and more depending on facility).
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
- Administer general, regional, and MAC anesthesia.
- Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process and manage post-anesthesia recovery.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols and regulatory standards.
