CRMA/Residential Counselor (Weekends)
About The Position
Cornerstones of Maine is seeking a part-time CRMA/Residential Counselor to support young adult clients at its Residential Treatment Center in Portland, Maine. The position works weekends: Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The role involves mentoring and coaching residents, supervising their daily routines, helping with activities of daily living and household responsibilities, transporting clients in the community, and providing crisis intervention as needed. A CRMA and two years of experience in mental health care are required. MHRT and/or DSP certification is preferred. Cornerstones of Maine is a small residential treatment program serving young adults ages 18 to 28 who are working toward adulthood and greater independence while addressing mental health challenges. The program is committed to diversity and to supporting a broadly diverse staff team. Successful applicants must clear background checks, employment verification, and professional reference checks.
Requirements
- CRMA certification.
- Two years of experience in mental health care.
- A driver's license is required for client transportation.

Responsibilities
