About The Position

The Critical Environments Director will be responsible for supporting business development in growth of GMP Regulated Services business units and Critical Environments. The director will provide support to multiple projects concurrently utilizing operations experience with an emphasis on GMP compliance and process excellence. Applies applicable industry best-known-methods, Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools along with other improvement methodologies/tools to foster a culture of self-managed services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate services and projects
  • Provide technical mentoring to department personnel
  • Lead the efforts and coordinate with other functional area leaders on GMP Regulated service initiatives
  • Provide supporting data to develop budgets, and may involve management of multiple cost centers, assure compliance
  • Complete performance appraisal for direct report and reviews staff own performance appraisals following company policies on a timely manner
  • Create, develop, update, revise and maintain documentation, policies, programs, procedures, and files following internal policies, standards and regulations established by government and/or regulatory agencies
  • Continuously comply will all service/project related regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate, select, and implement business solutions within existent and on development processes and/ or services
  • Create, develop and/or identify processes, service(s) and/or tool(s) as needed to ensure business deliverables and improve process efficiency at minimum cost
  • Establish and maintain required business documents as per internal and/ or external policies, regulations, and or procedures as applicable
  • Ensure documents are accurate and within internal and/ or external policies, regulations, and or procedures as applicable
  • May develop and/or revise task instructions and operational procedures for new processes and services
  • Provide updates on assigned topics to appropriate personnel
  • May assist and/or lead the new service introduction and account transitions
  • Interact with functional areas representatives during the selection and implementation of business solutions
  • Communicate to functional department(s), in a timely manner, information related to business solutions
  • In conjunction with services work to assure the most efficient flow design in manufacturing, utilizing state of the art technology where applicable
  • Provide support and training to service personnel and customers
  • Work and implement special projects or assignments as assigned
  • Travel and coordinate staff members to travel to other facilities when it is necessary to attend inter-facility meetings, service/technology transfer, Improvement Teams, and/or Critical Environment trainings
  • Will require travel to support operational initiatives up to 50% of the time
