About The Position

The Critical Care Transport Paramedic is responsible to provide direct patient care to patients, requiring interfacility transport from primary or critical access hospitals to tertiary care hospitals, and providing urgent procedures or admission to intensive care centers. In this role you will grow your skills while participating in trainings, clinical rotations, and all education needed. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 year Working as a paramedic or in the intensive care setting
  • Licensed Paramedic (PARA) - State Licensing Board
  • Drivers License - Drivers License
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Heart Association
  • Critical Care Transfer Paramedic - Indiana CCT-P or FP-C Certified

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years Operation of a motor vehicle

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assigned ambulance, equipment, and supplies during a shift, as well as security of all equipment and supplies, including but not limited to scheduled and non-scheduled medications.
  • Perform Basic and Advanced Life Support pre-hospital assessment and care.
  • Perform tasks in the pre-hospital setting under the control of the Medical Director.
  • Provide orderly transfer of patient care to receiving facility staff.
  • Assist with the management of the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) program.
  • Communicate and act as a liaison between the patient, family physician, and other agencies, as required.
